Litti Chokha Mela – A Celebration of Our Flavors

Our Litti Chokha Mela is a one-of-a-kind celebration of authentic Bihari cuisine, where the community comes together to cook and enjoy:

🍲 Litti Chokha – A beloved dish of wheat balls stuffed with spiced gram flour, served with mashed roasted eggplant, potatoes, and tomatoes.
🥩 Champaran Meat – A slow-cooked, spice-infused delicacy from Bihar, known for its rich aroma and bold flavors.

Accompanied by folk music and dance, this festival is not just about food—it’s about connection, nostalgia, and cultural pride.

Chhath Pooja

At BIJUSA, we take pride in bringing together the diaspora from Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Nepal to celebrate our shared heritage and traditions. We proudly organize the largest Chhath Pooja in North America, uniting thousands of devotees in a grand, spiritual, and cultural celebration.

Chhath Pooja, a sacred festival dedicated to Surya Dev and Chhathi Maiya, is a testament to faith, devotion, and gratitude. Our celebration honors age-old traditions, featuring authentic rituals, devotional music, and offerings made at the water’s edge, creating a deeply spiritual and community-driven experience.
